YAL ("Young Adult League") is an Archdiocesan network of young Orthodox Christians who are seeking friendships and spiritual growth.  YAL activities center on Service, Worship, Witness and Fellowship.

Diocesan and Archdiocesan conferences are held annually.  The Diocese of Chicago YAL sponsors the Metropolitan Iakovos Scholarship Fund, supports the Archdiocesan Missions Center and contributes in many ways to existing programs.  Locally, YAL promotes parish involvement and provides opportunities for members to grow stronger in their Orthodox faith.
